Annotation: Semi-autochthonous populations from Cephalonia (e. g. Asos; cf. Phitos & Damboldt 1985: 64) correspond rather well with Erysimum cheiri but others as from Corfu (Paleo Frourio) or from Oxia (described as E. bisaccatum: Formánek 1898: 79) represent »interesting forms with a pronounced variation against E. corinthium« (Snogerup 1967b: 73) as they include plants which are difficult to place taxonomically († S. Snogerup, verbatim in 2007). Some years earlier A. Polatschek had assured me that the type specimen of E. bisaccatum should be relegated to »E. cheiri var. corinthium«, i. e. E. corinthium .
