Annotation: Previous and unspecific records of Oloptum miliaceum for the Ionian Islands need revision as in our experience O. thomasii (a taxon with different ecological requirements) is by far more common than the first. However, O. thomasii was usually not considered and subsumed under Oryzopsis miliacea or Piptatherum miliaceum, respectively. [2016-01-01]
