Annotation: In plants of Muscari neglectum from Corfu the hexaploid chromosome number of 2n = 54 was found, while it occurs with diploid and tetraploid populations on mainland Greece (Karlén 1985: 315, 316). Heldreich had separated populations of Corfu from »M. racemosum« [i. e. M. neglectum] as M. mordoanum (Heldreich 1878b: 52), which however is now usually treated synonymous. Taxonomic evaluation of the cytotypes is wanted. [2016-02-19]
