Annotation: Asplenium trichomanes needs further studies. In the checklist »Vascular Plants of Greece« (Dimopoulos & al. 2013: 38) subsp. quadrivalens and subsp. trichomanes are quoted for the Ionian Islands. So far we have identified only subsp. quadrivalens; the record of the strictly acidophilous subsp. trichomanes from Paxí (Georgiadis & al. 1986: 574) needs revision. [2016-01-19]
