Annotation: Cerastium decrescens (originally described by Lonsing 1939: 146 as subspecies of C. brachiatum, and indicated for Cephalonia by its author) was merged with typical C. brachiatum in »Flora Hellenica« (Strid in Strid & Tan 1997: 206, as C. illyricum subsp. brachiatum) because of alleged occurrence of both taxa on Cephalonia, and »intergradation« between them. So far we have not been able to identify typical C. brachiatum here, which seems to be confined to Zakynthos and Peloponnisos. (See also our note under C. brachiatum!) [2018-11-23]
