Annotation: Within the variable Cistus creticus the distinction between a more western centered subsp. eriocephalus and the eastern subsp. creticus is often blurred at least in the Ionian region. To present reasonable data for these races more and thorough population studies are needed, as already noted in a note on the Kalamos Cisti (Gutermann & al. 2014: 176). [2016-02-08]
