Annotation: Medicago arborea is not indigeneous on the Ionian Islands, but is often seen as an ornamental shrub in or near settlements, from where it may get naturalized (as in NE Kérkira, here locally established in coastal macchia). Most records obviously originate from cultivation. [2019-06-05]
